Privacy Policy
This policy describes how the David Stewart Handelman website handles messages sent through the contact form. It applies to davidstewarthandelman.us.
Information you provide
The contact form asks for your name, email address, an optional subject, and your message. The form does not ask for a phone number. Please do not include sensitive information you do not want held in ordinary email correspondence.
How the message is used
Messages are sent to realspot@socal.rr.com so David can read and reply to the inquiry. They are not added to a mailing list, sold, or used for advertising.
How long messages are kept
A message is kept with the correspondence it belongs to for as long as needed to respond and keep a record of that exchange. It is not retained as a separate marketing database.
Spam protection
The form uses a hidden honeypot field, limits how often messages can be sent from the same connection, and checks that the message is a reasonable length. When Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled, the form also sends a challenge token to our server for verification. Turnstile may process technical information such as your IP address and browser signals under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Challenge tokens are checked on the server and are not treated as a substitute for that check in the browser alone.
